Oma Dianne has some of the best recipes! When she decided to move from her home into assisted living she allowed me to have her recipe cards. I have not made all of them but I can almost guarantee they are the best. Just like you and your soon to be little brother. I love you dearly.

Ingredients (crust)
- 43 vanilla wafers (¼ cups crumbs)
- ½ cup sweetened coconut
- 6 Tbs melted butter
Ingredients (filling)
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- ½ cup key lime juice
- 1 tsp lime zest
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Crust:
- Pulse in food processor all the vanilla wafers (you’ll need ¼ cups crumbs)
- Add coconut and melted butter and pulse to blend
- Press mixture along bottom and up side of a 9in pan
- Filling:
- Beat yolks until they are lemon colored
- Blend in sweetened condensed milk then add in lime juice and zest
- Stir until well blended
- Pour into the 9in pan
- Bake 12 min until mixture is set
- If using a glass pie pan, bake at 325 degrees
